why do it?
Following feedback from our customers, we have combined 2 of our most innovative activities to offer offer Bug Canyoning, another unique Nae Limits adventure activity.
River Bugs - our "one man inflatable armchairs" offer one of the most unique ways to navigate the river and what better place to do this than in a gorge/canyon.
The day begins on a more gentle river where you will learn the techniques involved in navigating through a gorge. Your instructor will introduce you to river features aswell as the skills and techniques necessary to take your bug safely down the the gorge !
After a hearty lunch, we move onto the buggable canyon. With it's 350ft sides this natural gorge is very committing but the natural vegetation and unique environment make it worth the trip.
During the session you will be encouraged to ride the rapids, navigate the waterfalls and jump some of the awesome cliffs which form part of the canyon. The bug is the very vehicle to get you down this designated site of "natural beauty" - what better way to travel.
All safety equipment and transport to/from the activity will be provided.
when can i do it?
Please note that this activities is not currently available.
Bug Canyoning runs April - September on Sundays only.
Anything else?
Bug Canyoning is a full day activity and a good level of fitness is required. You must be water confident and have a head for heights.
Minimum age: 16 yrs, under 18's must be accompanied their a parent or legal guardian.
